Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Milan at V. Giosuè Carducci, Gelato Libre - DOMORI is a truly extraordinary destination for those seeking an exceptional culinary and gourmet experience beyond the conventional. This unique space masterfully combines the delights of an ice cream shop, chocolate boutique, Italian grocery, and tea store, offering a treasure trove that satisfies both the palate and the soul.

What sets Gelato Libre apart is its passionate commitment to crafting 100% vegan gelato that doesn’t compromise on richness or creaminess. The nut-based flavors, such as nocciola and pistachio, are renowned among visitors for their velvety smoothness and deeply satisfying taste—made even more remarkable considering they are entirely dairy-free. Several patrons, like Rosalba In Europe, have raved about the luscious tiramisu and almond gelato, noting the silky texture and the fact that all cones are vegan, accentuating the thoughtful dedication to inclusivity.

Beyond gelato, Gelato Libre offers an exquisite selection of artisanal products that elevate a gourmet food lover’s shopping list. The Dammann Frères teas present an impeccable variety of teas and infusions—both loose-leaf and bagged—paired with elegant accessories and gift packages that are perfect for teatime aficionados. Meanwhile, lovers of authentic Italian preserves will delight in Agrimontana’s range of 100% Italian jams, honey, and candied chestnuts, handcrafted to bring the essence of Italy into every jar.

Chocolate aficionados are not forgotten either, with Prestat’s refined pralines, truffles, and vintage Sydney-inspired chocolate bars providing a glimpse of heritage quality that has charmed British royalty for decades. Adding to this rich tapestry is an extensive selection of Illy Caffè products—premium Arabica blends that cater to every coffee enthusiast’s desire, promising a perfect cup every time.

Customers frequently express amazement not only at the product quality but also at the considerate service: from Thiago Branco’s praise of the gelateria’s friendly card payment options—even for small purchases, a rare luxury in Italy—to the universal delight in the creamy, intense flavors that feel both indulgent and thoughtfully crafted.

Gelato Libre - DOMORI is much more than just a spot for a quick treat; it’s a curated experience where each bite, sip, and purchase speaks to authenticity, tradition, and innovation wrapped in an inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a vegan food lover, a tea connoisseur, or a chocolate devotee, this shop embodies the soul of Italian craftsmanship with a modern, compassionate twist.

Step inside to savor unforgettable flavors, discover premium Italian delicacies, and leave with more than just a purchase—leave inspired by the art of true, thoughtful indulgence.

Amazing all-vegan gelateria! Creamy and rich flavors. The “gelato libre” (cashews, lemon and saffron) was to die for. They also let you pay with card even for small transactions, which is hard to find in Italy. Will definitely be back.

Really good ice-creams. Persian Pistachio was the best.

Excellent gelato! All flavors also happen to be vegan. I recommend the nut based flavors (nocciola, pistachio) over the fruit flavors (lemon), since I believe the cream is cashew based, which works very well with the nutty flavors.

Can I give this place more than 5 stars? Worth 10 stars. I had the tiramisu and the almond ice cream. All nut based, no dairy. So smooth, so creamy. Vegan cones. Amazing and really yummy.

Great vegan ice cream shop. Tried the pistacchio ice cream which actually tasted like pistacchio and was creamy. The cone was also quite good. There are some benches outside where one can seat for a bit and enjoy the city moving in front of us.
